South Park Elementary Center is proud to launch the “SPEC House System” this school year. Created by the Ron Clark Academy, the House System is a proven way to build positive school climate and culture, improve attendance, build friendships, and increase student achievement. The House System fosters a sense of belonging among students and staff by having each student and school staff member become a member of one of eight houses. They’ll participate in house-specific events and activities throughout the year. Students will have the opportunity to receive points for their houses. Points are awarded for going above and beyond expectations in areas such as academic achievement, character, school spirit, and uplifting others. The house that earns the most points at the end of the year will be named the House Champions! More information will be shared with SPEC families. Stay tuned for more updates!
